From success to blunder
I will often wonder
Which path is right for me
The one I’m on
Or the one I see?
Twists and turns; a little guidance
Relying on what is inside us
Playing games to win or lose
Too many choices, which to choose?
Life’s not always fair
Play it safe or take the dare?
Questions will always arise
Love, sorrow, trust, lies
The outcome truly a surprise
Joy, bliss, tears and fears
Many emotions for many years
Awkward, shamed, spot-light on
What are we running from?
Solitude, isolation, being left alone
Our souls left free to roam
We seek the comfort of others arms
Waylaid by pretty charms
So to you I issue this
A challenge-will you hit or will you miss?
