Drowning in despair
The tears flow so freely
I was almost complete
And then it was stolen
From me
I will survive to go on
But I know
That I will always be searching
Never again to find that person
Never again to feel that warmth
You have killed my light
With those words that you uttered
And I know why you had to go
But I will never accept it
That you brought me to life
And then shoved me into darkness
I can only try to believe
That it was not done in cruelty
Hoping desperately
That you are not laughing at me
I refuse to feel again
I refuse to ever open myself to another
Ever again, no longer will love
Makes me its victim
